ChildAid Update

Medical Ambassadors Foundation would like us to praise God with them that:

• The sponsored children recently visited a park in Korce (pictured below), an opportunity families can’t usually afford. It was a delightful time for all!
• Their Bible club in July blessed 120 children (pictured below). The theme was “Adventure in the jungle - the wonders of God’s creation!” Pray that what they learnt would continue to deepen their faith in God .
• Many of the boys have been enjoying football tournaments with discipleship (pictured below). Pray they would experience the love of Jesus and commit to following Him.

Please pray for:

• The plans for a games room for youth and children’s activities at the church in Vloçisht. May MAF raise the funds needed to bless the young people in this way.
• Families to find work in Albania - many are leaving the country to seek better employment elsewhere. Ask God to bring stability and prosperity to Albania.

Give great thanks to God for recent successes at Potter’s House:

• Throughout the summer, Potter’s House were able to give out hundreds of heat protection kits to the families of sponsored children during an unprecendented heatwave.
• On 13th November, seven students supported by ChildAid graduated from high school (pictured). Praise God for their hard work and dedication! Pray that as they begin the university application process, they would trust God with their futures.
• The children have enjoyed many extra curricular activities in the past term, including a science fair (pictured), discipleship studies and gardening classes.

Please pray for:

• The sponsored children whilst they are on their school holidays until the start of February. May God keep them safe in their homes & foster unity in their families.
• God to provide qualified, godly believers to fill job vacancies at Potter’s House.

JKPS have seen God answer prayers in their children’s ministry recently:

• On 15th August, the children celebrated Independence Day. They participated in a programme (pictured) showcasing their talents through dance & drama. The event helped them to value their culture.
• Throughout the summer, the children took part in career counselling. They were helped to identify their subject-specific strengths and understand the career opportunities which align with their abilities.
• In October, the children completed their Annual Bible Exam (pictured). Praise God for their hard work and pray that the knowledge they have would impact their hearts.

Please pray for:

• Lasting fruit from JKPS’ Christmas events (pictured). The sponsored children were given gifts and enjoyed celebrating together. After hearing about the true meaning of Christmas, pray they would now put their trust in Jesus as their Saviour and King.

Word of Hope Orphanage would love us to thank God with them that:

• WorldShare’s CEO Andrew and trustees Zoe and Daniel were able to visit in October, bringing treats for the children (pictured).
• The sponsored children remain in good health and are enjoying school.
• Despite damage to the orphanage buildings during recent flooding (pictured), God kept all the children and staff safe.
• The children continue to eagerly attend church every Sunday, participating in the services through dance, choir performances (pictured) and various social activities. The younger children also have the opportunity to go to Sunday school classes.

Please pray for:

• Word of Hope Orphanage as they establish plans to build a new girls’ dormitory in 2025 - the current one is extensively damaged. May God give WorldShare wisdom as we consider how best to support them in this much-needed project.
