Summer of Seeds

01 August 2025

How God is Moving Through Camps Around the World

This summer, our ministry partners have been sowing seeds of faith, joy, and transformation in the lives of children and young people through vibrant camps and outreach events. From the hills of Albania to the villages of India, from the lakes of Macedonia to the heart of Myanmar, God is at work - drawing young hearts to Himself.

JKPS, India – Children’s Summer Camp

In May, over 280 children across five JKPS centres in India gathered under the theme “I Have to Listen and Obey God.”

Through Bible stories like Noah and the Great Flood and the Parable of the Sower, children engaged in crafts, games, music, and storytelling that brought Scripture to life. The camp nurtured spiritual growth and character development, with older children even sharing personal testimonies. As one child shared, “I want to be like the good soil that allows plants to grow well.” These camps are more than events—they are foundations for lifelong transformation.

MAF, Albania – Kingdom Kids & Camp Erseka

In Albania, nearly 150 children participated in Holiday Bible Clubs in Vlocisht and Vashtemi, where they learned about biblical kings and the ultimate King of kings, Jesus. With felt board stories, puppet theatre, and sketchboard illustrations, the Gospel came alive. Children enjoyed crafts, games, and even received school backpacks thanks to generous partners.

Later in July, a group of 11–14 year olds attended Camp Erseka, themed “Everest.” Each day was filled with adventure; wall climbing, ziplines, and faith-building moments. The children learned to face life’s challenges with courage, leaning on God’s strength. The 15–18 year olds attended another camp at the end of July.

ECNM, Macedonia – Youth Festival & Kids Club Field Trip

From June 24–29, 150 young people from Macedonia joined 1,500 others at the Srcokret Youth Festival in Croatia. It was a powerful week of worship, teaching, and evangelism. Many responded to altar calls, committing or recommitting their lives to Christ.

Back in North Macedonia, the Evangelical Church held multiple summer outreaches, as well as the 'Special Kids Club' field trip to Albania. Other camps and baptisms also took place across several churches, with more planned throughout the summer.

Word of Hope, Myanmar – Church Camp

From April 14–18, Word of Hope in Myanmar hosted a church camp where 12 young people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord and were baptised. Praise God for these new lives in Christ!

Other Minsitry Partners and Global Camps

From Moldova to Guatemala and beyond, our ministry partners continue to run camps that offer children and families a place to grow, reflect, and encounter God. These gatherings, whether for children, youth, or refugee adults, are shaping lives in quiet but meaningful ways.

And it’s not just our ministry partners. Across the UK and around the world, churches and ministries are hosting camps this summer. Each one is an opportunity for young (and not so young) people to hear the Gospel, build friendships, and be encouraged in their faith.

Please Pray:

As summer continues, let’s pray:

  • For lasting fruit in the lives of those who’ve attended camps.
  • For safety, wisdom, and strength for those still serving.
  • For the Gospel to be clearly shared and deeply received—wherever camps are taking place.

Thank you for standing with us.
