Wakisa Ministries Prayer Evening Recording
18 October 2024
We had the blessing of chatting live to Vivian Kityo, founder and director of Wakisa Ministries, at our online prayer event on 14th October.
Thank you to those of you who joined us on the evening - it was great to be able to pray for the ongoing work of Wakisa Ministries, as well as their plans for the Maternity Centre. Don't worry if you missed it, you can catch up by watching the recording above.
Wakisa Ministries would particularly value your ongoing prayers for:
- Parents/guardians to accept their daughters back home on resettlement
- A new director and Vivian's retirement
- Girls to acquire skills for the future
- Abused mothers to bond with their babies
- Traumatised girls, especially due to incest, to be healed
- Operational funding for the ministry
- Funds to equip the Maternity Centre
- Medical volunteers - doctors and laboratory & ultra sound scan technicians
- Wakisa Ministries to clear the medical bill of the hospital being used by the girls
- Wakisa Ministries’ medical camp
- The Medical Practicing License for the Maternity Centre
