Thanks to a grant of £500, secured from a charitable trust, Medical Ambassadors Foundation in Albania have been able to buy new puppets and a portable puppet theatre for their children's ministry. The grant has enabled them to expand their evangelism work, as well as strengthening their programmes with children in the five villages they are working in. Praise God!
Small things make a big impact
Medical Ambassadors Foundation are a long-standing partner of WorldShare and have been evangelising, church planting & carrying out children’s ministry for over 23 years in poor and marginalised communities around the Southern Albanian city of Korcé.
MAF have a good number of children and youth who are believers and who come to the children’s or youth meetings. Some of the youth have been trained in puppet theatre for children’s evangelism activities. Isn't it amazing that the youth are not only learning about Jesus but teaching it to others too!
Through the grant we secured, larger, more professional puppets have been purchased which are easier for children to see in big groups. The new portable puppet theatre makes it much easier to take the show from village to village. The above photos are from the most recent puppet theatre sessions, run by the youth, for the children in Vlocisht several weeks ago. The team at MAF are delighted. They said:
“The children love the puppet theatre and the new stage is much more portable than the old one. Thank you for providing this grant to help us in our children’s evangelism.”
