Bringing Hope to the Displaced & Vulnerable
Since the ceasefire, approximately half a million Palestinians have been permitted to return home to northern Gaza. The city is overwhelmed and is unable to support this influx, as much of its infrastructure has been destroyed. There is no electricity or water available.
In a neighbourhood where Christian Mission to Gaza are based, two large camps have been formed to shelter the displaced families. The CMG team have been working to provide support in these camps, distributing clothing to hundreds of women & children and providing over 200 hot meals.

The sign reads: "A gift from Gaza Baptist Church. To our people in the northern Gaza Strip."
Hope Amidst Uncertainty
The joy of the ceasefire comes with seeing hostages freed and reunited with their families, as well as Gazans making their way back north from the south. However, many are returning to find they no longer have homes, facing a painful reality of loss and displacement, including those in the Christian community. As the situation remains uncertain, many of the Christians have returned to the churches for shelter.
Please pray:
- That the ceasefire, supported by negotiations involving the U.S., Qatar, and Egypt, will hold and lead to a lasting solution for peace.
- For CMG as a new stage of their relief work begins, focused on helping families in Gaza rebuild their lives and recover from this devastation.
- That CMG continue to be a light in the midst of darkness, shining God’s love to those who need it most.
