Girls’ Dormitory Appeal
The girls at Hope Orphanage are one step closer to having a safe and secure new home, but they urgently need your help to complete their dormitory.
On Thursday 10th September, WorldShare CEO Andrew jumped out of a plane to launch the Miles for Myanmar campaign to complete the project. His skydive raised over £9,000, leaving just £16,000 still to raise. Your support is vital to help finish the dormitory by the end of the year.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, WorldShare has funded all the work completed so far, enabling the main structure (pictured left) of the new dormitory to be built. Andrew’s Miles for Myanmar skydive has helped take us another significant step closer, but there is still much to do.
The remaining £16,000 will fund the plastering, doors and windows, painting, tiling, electrical work and plumbing needed to make the new dormitory safe, welcoming and ready for the girls at Hope Orphanage.
