Easter Appeal 2026

As Easter approaches, a season of hope, renewal & resurrection, we are reminded once again of the powerful truth at the heart of our Christian faith: light breaks through even the deepest darkness.

Around the world today, countless communities are longing for that light. Many are facing war, poverty, persecution, displacement, or the daily struggle of simply trying to survive. And yet, through our local Christian partners, hope is rising, lives are being restored, communities are finding strength & people are encountering the love of Jesus, often for the very first time.

This is the miracle of Easter lived out in real time. A reminder that transformation is possible, even when hope seems lost.

Serkan, a Kanal Hayat viewer, shares his story:

I used to be a Muslim who prayed regularly. But during the darkest time in my life, when I felt completely lost, Jesus met me. He found me at my lowest. I was on the edge of taking my own life... but Jesus saved me.

My journey hasn’t been easy. After I became a Christian, my relationship with my family changed dramatically. My father rejected me. I’ve faced threats and rejection, but through it all I’ve never been alone.

I can truly say that God has been with me every step of the way, guiding me through every hardship.

Praise be to the Lord because I’ve seen miracles in my life. He has made things happen that I once believed were completely impossible.

May God bless you and your channel. It has been such a blessing to me.

Story of a Christian family, supported by Christian Mission to Gaza (CMG):

Before the war, life for this family was simple and joyful. The father worked at a local church. The mother taught at a cultural centre. Their children were thriving; attending school, playing sports, reading and drawing. Then everything changed.

CMG's ministry in action

The day they fled their home was filled with panic as explosions grew louder. They grabbed only the essentials; important documents, a few clothes and food. The children clutched their favourite toys & schoolbooks as they left behind everything they’d ever known.

They now live in a church that has become a shelter for the displaced. Food is scarce, clean water is limited and the cost of even the most basic essentials are out of reach. Yet amid all this, they cling to hope, saying,

We believe in our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We trust that after every darkness, there is light.”

Please would you make global mission part of your Easter by giving a special gift?

Your gift today can bring resurrection hope to the hopeless this Easter; a light breaking through even the deepest darkness.

Pray

Ask God to continue to help our ministry partners as they provide practical help & share the hope of the Gospel with those they serve.
