Weather permitting, WorldShare CEO, Andrew Yelland, will be kicking off our autumn fundraiser, Miles for Myanmar, with a 15,000ft sponsored skydive on Friday 4th September. Whether you consider it scary, crazy, or both, he’s taking this on to help complete the new girls’ dormitory at Hope Orphanage.
The Miles for Myanmar challenge is simple: together, we want to “travel” 24,900 miles (the approximate distance to circumnavigate the globe as the crow flies) with every £1 raised counting as one mile. The fundraising target is £24,900, and every gift will help Word of Hope finish the building project to provide a secure home for the girls at the orphanage.
