Developing communities in South Sudan along with the Sudanese Church. Reaching out and sharing the Gospel with unreached groups.

Our ministry partner, Africa Inland Church (AIC), works on the ground in South Sudan to strengthen the Church by training leaders, planting churches among unreached communities, and implementing a wide range of community development programmes. The ministry has been working in South Sudan for more than 60 years and has become one of the most significant church networks in the country with hundreds of churches across the nation.

AIC also minister to the hundreds of thousands of displaced people settled in refugee camps in Uganda. Of those that are able to return home many have nothing left anymore and AIC aim to help them to re-establish and rebuild their lives.

About South Sudan

Sudan was Africa’s largest country until 2011 when it was split into two countries after the people of the south voted for independence. Those in the South, who were mainly Christians had been struggling for decades against rule by the Arab Muslim north. A combination of drought and decades of war means that many live at subsistence level. More recently, the situation has drastically worsened and famine was declared in February 2017
