50 oxygen tanks delivered just in time

Oxygen tanks have been travelling across waters to reach people in some of the most isolated corners of Brazil who are desperately fighting Covid-19 with few medical resources.

Earlier in the year we heard news of the rising cases of Covid-19 in the Amazonas region of Brazil causing the healthcare system to collapse and oxygen supplies to dwindle. Ministry partner, the Evangelical Mission for Assistance to Fishermen (EMAF) launched an appeal in response, to raise funds to enable them to deliver oxygen tanks to those they serve in some of the most remote communities in Brazil.

Thank you for stepping out in faith to support them. We praise God that, through the generosity of people like you, they raised enough to deliver 50 oxygen tanks! These have been delivered to the areas of Lábrea, Pauini and Canutama. Watch the update from EMAF below to find out how they reached people just in time:

EMAF serve isolated riverside communities in Brazil, who are only accessible by boat and are cut off from vital services. They provide education, medical and livelihood resources whilst sharing the love of Jesus.

Brazil’s fight against Covid-19 is far from over. Please pray for EMAF as they continue to raise funds for further oxygen tank deliveries, and support communities in need.
