As Christmas approaches, there are a few things that we wouldn’t dream of doing, like forgetting to prepare everything for Christmas dinner or letting our children go outside in the wet and cold without suitable clothing or footwear.
For those families who lost everything in the Turkey earthquake back in February, winter is looking especially bleak, particularly for the children that have been affected.
That’s why we have launched this Christmas Appeal to raise £15,000 to ‘winterproof’ 500 children - providing them with winter coats, wellies and other ways to keep warm.
While the Turkey earthquake is no longer in the news, WorldShare has not forgotten the families who were affected. Your generosity throughout this year has helped to house thousands of families in container cities & provide emergency aid through our partner organisations in Turkey.
But they still need your help, particularly as the temperature drops.
